Animal Testing?

I am considering giving up eating pigs & chicken due to cruel cultivation practices involved. I am also trying to buy cosmetics etc that haven't been tested on animals. I found the peta.org website, but the catalogue of companies that don't test give the impression of being to include mainly american products we can't bring back. I'm just wondering if nearby is a nz product list, or a nz peta website?
Also if anyone know of other companies in nz that aren't on that inventory, let me know.

Answer:
There are lots international companies that do not test on animals.

I would recommend printing out the Peta detail and taking it with you to a department store or pharmacy/chemist and chat to one of the informed assistants here.

I live in South Africa and hold similar problems.

Once company to steer clear of is Innoxa (based in Australia) as I hold found that even though they say their products do not contain any animal by-products I hold found out through many e-mails that they do not consider constant animal derived ingredients to be by-products.

If you do not want to buy products tested on animals I would also suggest you think going on for products that contain animal ingredients.
what is nz?
new zealand? ably, if you wouldn't mind blowing off a few extra bucks, i would recommend probably getting them shipped to your country? if not, look around for an natural store of some sorts, and request for cosmetis/styling products that do not test. and brava on your choice to steer clear of pigs and chicken..probably you'll soon include cows to that list..?
Well, i get through a lot of meat because i am not a lacto-vegetarian... but i always try to avoid pig meat because i am anxious of tape snakes. u Know those things contained by your tummy. even thinking of it is disgusting. Well i don't understand y empire avoid meat.

Oh well at lowest i eat meat. Hope this help!!

P.S Well i think it is cruel and i try to avid too. i really agree near you! at least i am not the lone one that thinks its cruel.
You shouldn't devour pork because its mostly Australian, and no you can't get cassette worms from well cooked pork products. Try some reputible online stores. If amazon can ship to NZ for stuff adjectives, then online shops next to international shipping should be fine.
