what percent of killed animals r used for food...
clothes
and other activitys

Answer:
I'm not sure, but I read somewhere a few years ago that the meat industry would not be profitable and economically viable if it be not able to flog the other parts of the animal to companies who use the bi-products. I think something close to 20-30% of the animal is used for food. That is a total guess.

Animals are so horribly exploited and overused its pathetic. Every concluding part of the animal is used, right down to the secretion in their stomachs, used as rennet surrounded by cheese. Then, the spent bones, skin, ligaments and tendons are rendered into gelatine (jello) The rendered skins are made into leather. The intestines are used a sausage casings. The bones are ground to label "char" which is used to filter sugar and salt, and it the activate charcoal in fish aquariums. Even the glands are used for medicine (armour thyroid is made by the same company that make armour hotdogs) The sperm is used in cosmetics (cod sperm be just approved ultimate week as an acceptable cosmetic ingredient. http://www.cosmeticsdesign-europe.com/ne...
