Question to vegetarian?

Besides fruits and vegetables, what do you consume?And, If you eat Tofu, is it really as harsh as people vote?

I am not a vegetarian but tofu is not repulsive
it acts approaching a sponge for flavour - I have have it made into great "egg salad" sandwiches, fantastic contained by stir fries (I especially like the ones next to peanut sauce, deep fried

nuts
beans
grains
lacto-ovo lacto-vegetarian will also eat eggs, cheese, milk (dairy)

within are a lot of great lacto-vegetarian dishes out there
(I don't give attention to that people are intended to be vegetarian much smaller amount vegan but I know that most "westerners" guzzle far too much meat)
I'll munch through pretty much anything as long as it doesn't have meat surrounded by it(snack foods, pasta, toast, etc), and tofu doesnt even taste close to anything, it absorbs the savour of whatever you mix it next to.

First of all, tofu is not distasteful! It can taste thoroughly good if it is cooked the right opening. I'm not a vegetarian but my mother is, so I chomp through a lot of healty food. Other than fruits and veggies you can guzzle beans, grains, and adjectives sorts of neat things. If you move about to a bookstore and look under lacto-vegetarian you'll find a lot of well turned-out books with information and recipe. Good luck!
Tofu is vastly good and really good for you.. at store they also hold vegitarian burgers, buffalo wings, etc baisically everything.. i've tried it adjectives and checked the ingreditans.. 100% vegitarian and very appropriate to... im glad im chose to be vegitarian

No, near is some great meat replacement products are your store that tastevery close to the real piece, just in need the hormones, steriods and stuff in concrete meat. I have given up meat products simply because I don't trust the FDA inspecting it and presently they're talking roughly speaking cloned meat. Forget it, I'm done. There's a reason Japan and Korea won't allow America's meat products to import there and it's barred. Anyway, there are excellent replacements that you will relish and feel great something like eating, not to mention lose consignment. I still eat fish, so I'm not a vegitarian, but it's call a Pescatarian or some odd item like that.

There are hell of other things to munch through. Just imagine and you will grasp the reply yourself.
I love Tofu, it take on the flavor of whatever you cook it near, it has a spongy consistency if it is fried, not alot of flavor, only just cook it with any vegetables
I eat tons of nuts and eggs (sorry, but I'm not vegan). Tofu is really digusting plain, but if you put it in something such as lacto-vegetarian brownies, its delicious. There are tons of "normal" foods I chomp through that are vegetarian- pasta, salad, pizza, sandwiches, most soups, bagels, donuts, etc.
Eggs. Dairy -- way too much cheese. A fair-minded bit of pasta. Some beans. Breads. Nothing that unusual, unless you count 'ethnic' food.

I don't eat tofu, or any 'meat substitutes' -- harsh, yes, for me. I've never tasted meat, and the texture of that stuff repels me contained by the same passageway meat does. The taste, approaching others have pointed out, is pretty much nil. But the texture's just bizarre.

So, to answer your question, in attendance are, in certainty, 8 forms af vegetarianism. (macro's don't count) pollo, pesco, pollo-pesco, ovo, lacto, lacto-ovo, vegan, and unprocessed. I'm just a lacto-vegetarian.
Tofu is not cruel at all, you of late have to marinate it the right course. My favorite way to formulate it is to marinate it in a sweet peanut sauce and after saute it in a skillet. Yum.

As for other foods, in attendance is a lot available to vegetarian and vegans these days. I resembling Gardenburgers Black Bean Chipolte Vegan Burgers on a piece of flatbread with mustard, soy cheese, and rather hot sauce to kick it up. I also chomp through Smart Dogs which are a soy hot dog. They taste only just like the physical thing. Also brown rice is a standard ingredient within a vegetarian or lacto-vegetarian diet and is used in MANY of my favorite recipe. Tofurkey's Deli Slice products are also tasty and don't tang like their obnoxious name would indicate at all. They sort a gread sandwich. Also, there is soy rime creams and sorbets as well as lacto-vegetarian cookies and cake mixes at most health food stores so you aren't giving up your sweet tooth.
I stick to the soy products from Morningstar Farms & non-meat, non-soy products from Qorn. They are a little expensive but great if you don't resembling to cook from scratch..

I am a vegetarian and first of adjectives tofu can only be horrible if you make it wicked or buy it nasty. and if ur not a lacto-vegetarian you can try tofu I promise it will not kill you. and also you can guzzle beans with no meat fat and rice there are plenty of things short meat that aren't fruits and veggies. Bread, eggs if your a oval vegetarian, peanut butter, nutella, pasta. Plenty!
Tofu is only ruthless if you don't do it right. I thought I hated it, cuz I'd tried twice to do stuff next to it and it never turned out (and I'm a great cook). Then I realized I be using the wrong kind of tofu. If you use a baked tofu or nigari style tofu, it have a lot more texture than silken tofu does (no thing HOW "firm" the silken is!). Silken tofu is better for desserts and stuff.

As a vegetarian, you can roughly eat anything that doesn't enjoy meat or animal fat, etc. surrounded by it. A lot of things you already eat ARE truly vegetarian, and copious others can easily become so. For instance, mac n cheese is lacto-vegetarian, pizza can be if you order it minus meat (or use veggie pepperoni, etc). Most deli's have luscious veggie sandwiches. Taco's can be lacto-vegetarian if you use vegetarian beans (which I used beforehand going veggie anyway since lard is purely NASTY!) and either no meat, or lacto-vegetarian taco crumbles (Yves has a brand that taste GREAT... I have meat-eating friends who cant' relay the difference!). With the meat substitutes on the market today, we can create just around anything we want and just substitute forged meat (or tofu) for real meat.
Tofu takes on the partiality of whatever it is cooked next to, so it's not nasty. I suppose if you sit down with a big chunk of it and ate it approaching that it would be, but when cooked with other things (omelette, pasta, etc.) after it tastes fine.

I love Wheat Thins--they're my favorite snack. There are mock meat, but I don't eat these commonly because they are high contained by sodium. I love bread, so I eat it almost everyday. I LOVE peanuts. I devour a ton of stuff, I can't even name it adjectives. Umm....well, I love pasta. I love soup. I love food within general, though. Cereal near soymilk, rice milk, or almond milk (I use soymilk). There's a ton of stuff. Vegan forms of muffins, cake, cookies, pancakes, crepes, pudding, and everything else you thought could never be vegan....

There's so much I can't enunciate it all, and I can't meditate of it all.

Actually, because we are other searching for up to date recipes, we certainly often own more variety within our diet than meat-eaters do. I know I eat a much better series of foods than I used to--and they're healthier as all right.
I chomp through soy products, whole wheat pasta, rice, beans, nuts and adjectives the different things you can make next to these ingredients. It's quite confident.

I also eat non-animal rennet cheese, yogurt and eggs.
