Teens--How various of you are vegetarian or vegans and why?

Did you choose this on your own or is it how your family have always eat? How many of your friends are vegetarian? Do you pack your lunch or does your school contribute vegetarian option?

Answer:
1. I used to be vegetarian.
2. I'm not in a minute.
3. I buy organic food as much as I possibly can, and will merely consume meat or dairy products if they are organic.
4. I put away eggs, but only ones produced by my own chickens (who are both feed a solely organic diet).
5. I don't enjoy any problem with meat eaters, vegetarian or vegans. I do however have a problem near bullies.
I'm not lacto-vegetarian or vegan but I used to enjoy a friend when I was contained by high institution who was lacto-vegetarian. She chose it on her own. She wasn't vegan but she be a big supporter of animal rights. Her family be fine with it but she have to make her own meal. And the high institution we went to did not own many lacto-vegetarian options. If you or someone you know is considering becoming lacto-vegetarian or vegetarian, I would recommend other bringing your own lunch. :)
I'm a lacto-vegetarian, the only one contained by my family. I own no vegetarian friends, but it's cool. And my academy offers really mature looking vegetable bowls so I just hold artichokes and V8 most of the time for lunch.
I am lacto-vegetarian because my whole family unit is vegetarian. i own some friends that are vegetarians, i would voice like 5 of my friends are lacto-vegetarian. My school offer vegetarian option so sometimes i buy lunch and sometimes i pack my own lunch. It is fun being lacto-vegetarian. I highly recommend human being vegetarian because it offer more benefits, and more and more teens and people are in a minute trying to become vegetarians.
I'm a vegan. I chose this myself after reading up on adjectives the cruelty going on in Factory Farms and seeing some video online. They were disgusting and I will not contribute in the slaughter of any animals.

It's also a thoroughly healthy opening to live. My family aren't vegans, they aren't even vegetarian, so I cook and clean up for myself every dark and morning and I pack my lunch for school. They are mostly supportive of my veggie-ness and I am grateful for that. My uncle is the exception who think we are all "weird" and practically threw a veggie burger at me, lol.
hi, yes i am a vegetarian, because i love animals and dont have a feeling that it is right to breed them just to get through them, they are living things too. i chose this on my own, and my family supports me even though they still get through meat. i know only one other personage who is a vegetarian that go to my school, and we aren't really suitable friends. i pack lunches, because i dont really like college lunches and they have meat within pretty much every meal, unless you want pb and j. i do munch through meatless vegan burgers and stuff though, and burger king have a vegetarian sandwich i estimate. anyways, i hope this helps if you are thinking of becoming lacto-vegetarian. it is really easy. upright luck!
I am a lacto-vegetarian because I did a project on animal cruelty and animal testing, and after long research I contracted on my own to become vegan. I am 13 years frail and my family have always loved meat, so its a not easy thing to settlement with. Even today my mother forced meatballs down my throat to carry me protien. I told her I could get it from fish, but she refuse to not let me put away the meatballs. I have to vote not many relatives approve, they think its wierd. But I still stand for what I believe. I enjoy already made 3 of my friends vegan and I am thankful for them. But its hard at lunch because my arts school never has lacto-vegetarian options.
I've just transferred from vegitarianism to veganism. The approach I see it, humans have evolved and no longer require animals surrounded by order to survive. The certainty that the animals are treated so inhumanely just give me more motivation. I go to a pretty progressive college and they offer closely of options as far as on top form / veg lunches, but usually I just buy a Silk and I don`t know some pita chips with my own hummus. I don't devour much at school.

I own a couple vegetarian friends and a lacto-vegetarian friend, but most of my friends are meat-eaters. It doesn't bother me, I just don't close to people who disrespect my choice or try to pick a clash with me adjectives the time. I'm definately up for a little athletic debate, but as someone else said, bullies are just annoying.
B/c I don't like the partiality of meat. I stopped eating it when I be about 12. None of my friends perceive the same process.
i'm a vegitarian and i choose to be one after i when't to cruel and talked to some of the society from peta and they gave me this dvd and i watch and and now i am a vegitarian because some of the things that be on the dvd was freaking horrible, and i don't hold my lunch to school i lately eat the stuff thats not meat, but the lunch ladies brand me put the meat on my tray because they say it's university policy and that i have to.
