Some alcoholic drinks are fined using animal products, including gelatine, blood and isinglass. So yes, alcohol can technically be made from animals.

The production of spirits does not appear to involve the use of animal substances though.

The author be not quite right going on for there not one any vegan cultures as anyone can read within The China Study by Cornell University which examined the health and diets of frequent vegan village in China. These village experienced a cancer rate of 0%, heart disease of 0%, osteporosis 0% and had be vegan for countless generation. Look it up. What say you in a minute?
"many beers, wines and other alcoholic beverages are filter with animal ingredients such as isinglass (derived from fish) or bone char. While the filter process only leaves trace animal residues contained by the final product, the fact that animal products are used at adjectives leaves many beverages bad of the vegan drinker's shopping roll. To make matter worse, some drinks are simply not vegan by uprightness of their ingredients, as cream, eggs, and even whole chickens can be added to a drink to make available it a distinctive flavour or property.

The trouble is, this isn't something you'll find on a label."
