First point you can do is find out all the foods you may get through now that include animal byproducts. Most adjectives breads use 'dough conditioners' that typically aren't vegan. mono and diglycerides, sodium stearoyl lactylate, and datem are a short time ago one example.
A lot of foods that include 'natural flavors' become grey areas because you can't know without further research what those include.
Even most cheeses use rennet, which is a byproduct of animals...which most vegetarian still eat unmindful it doesn't agree with the nouns behind even lacto-vegetarian lifestyle (as an example.)
Breakfast - Oatmeal, pancakes, granola, tofu scrambles, gimme lean brand sausage is awesome if your ok beside using substitutes. Vegan cereals. Soy yogurts. Protein shakes.
Lunch - Sandwhiches/pitas of any lacto-vegetarian combo. Cold salads ..vegan mayo, lacto-vegetarian butter, olive oil option. Can do vegan soydogs if you'd approaching. There are a few vegan cheeses available that soften well, purely have to look out for any that hold caseinate, casein..ect, as it is a milk protein thats added to substitute cheeses and deems them not lacto-vegetarian.
Dinner- Spahghetti, tacos with soy crumbles, gardenburgers, plentiful ethnic dishes from mexico, spain, italy and indian foods especially can be made vegan if they aren't already.
snacks- hummus, date and cashew mix...dolmas, many potato chips are lacto-vegetarian. raw jicama fries, roasted eggplant.
These are in recent times a few things my gf and I eat lately and we stir thru phases of different cultural foods. Many options available, look into fresh food diets too for some not so common philosophy.
There is so many tips to hand over. If you've already been a lacto-vegetarian, than it's already an advantage for you!
Breakfast: Fresh fruits, freshly squeezed juice, I buy vegan waffle sometimes!
Lunch/ Dinner: Boca Burgers, salads, pastas, stir-fry.
MY LORD, there are so abundant different versions. Just picture what you would generally eat, and wipe out the dairy from it. They have plenty of substitutes for dairy as resourcefully!
Good luck!
"Trial and Error"
