Vegan Pizza

This pizza is so tasty that you will not miss the cheese!

Ingredients:

for the underside:
500g./1 lb./3 cups plain flour, white or wholemeal
1 packet of easy blend dried yeast
200 ml./1 cup of heat water but hold adding until you acquire a good dough

topping:
1 tin chopped tomatoes (approx. 400g/14oz.)
2 tablespoons dried mixed herb
2 tablespoons olive or sunflower oil
saline and pepper to taste
1 small tin of mushrooms or/and sweetcorn (optional)
sesame seed for sprinkling on top

Mix the flour with the yeast and attach the water leisurely. Mix well (with your hand is best) and then knead for a couple of minutes until the dough is relatively smooth. Place on a large greased baking tray and flatten into desired shape (ie. - circle). Leave within a warm place while you prepare the topping: Mix together the tomatoes, herb, oil and seasoning contained by a bowl and then spread over the pizza floor. If using the mushrooms/sweetcorn - coat them in for a time olive oil and arrange on the top of the pizza. Sprinkle near sesame seeds and roast at 200 C/400 F for 15 to 20 minutes until ready.

Variations - noticeably you can add doesn`t matter what toppings you like to the supporting tomato mixture - olives, vegan 'cheeses', pineapple chunks, lacto-vegetarian meat substitutes etc. You can also vary the herb used, add garlic and onion or affix herbs or seed to the base. If you want a softer bottom you can leave the dough to rise for partly an hour before tally the toppings but we find it great without doing that.

Pasta (check ingredients) beside a chunky vegetable sauce.
Sloppy joes using lentils
Chili using just beans
Stir-fry

these are my favorite everyday recipe.

for great vegan spaghetti:
-cook a bunch of (mushrooms) contained by a pot with (garlic), (italian seasonings), and a bit (olive oil). if you like, include some (white wine).
-the mushrooms will make abundantly of juice. tag on enough (tvp) to occupy the juice. tvp is a vegetable protein that looks approaching granola, but when wet, it have about the texture of ground beef. it will thicken your sauce and append protein. it has practically no flavor.
-add a can of (crushed tomatoes) and a can of (tomato sauce).
-boil (vegan spaghetti noodles)
-top spaghetti next to (vegan grated topping). it tastes basically like parmesan, but next to no dairy products.

if you're really in a hurry, try freshly noodles with olive grease, garlic, seasonings, and vegan topping, no sauce required.

for lacto-vegetarian fajitas:
-heat (vegetarian refried beans), and add (hot sauce) for spiciness. most refried beans hold lard, so be sure they're lacto-vegetarian!
-thinly slice (bell peppers) and (onions). sautee them in (olive oil).
-warm (vegan flour tortillas).
-assemble beside toppings like (sliced olives), (lettuce), and (salsa).

pasta salad:
-slightly undercook (spiral pasta). it will hold your attention more moisture from the salad.
-put in immense bowl and mix in (frozen peas), (sliced olives), (thinly sliced mushrooms), (diced green peppers), (grated carrots), and (zesty italian dressing), to penchant. just confer on out any veggies you don't like, and donate anything extra that sounds good to you. (salt and pepper) suggested. keep chilled until serving.

my own ramen noodle invention next to no name:
-cook (oriental ramen noodles), but singular add partly the seasoning packet. oriental style is the only lacto-vegetarian flavor of ramen.
-drain out most of the water.
-add any veggies you enjoy on hand, much close to the above list. (frozen peas), (mushrooms), and (peppers) are great.
-cook until veggies are heated through and most wet is absorbed. chomp through with chopsticks.

simple meat replacement sandwich are always polite. get frozen boca chick'n patty, in the red box, at the grocery store. the spicy ones are my favorite. you can microwave them for a minute or two, and brand a sandwich with bread, veganaise (a great replacement for mayo), lettuce, and mustard. or try tofurky, phony turkey slices, for cold sandwiches. they're really great next to sliced avocado.
