Your body will not go into shock and you will particularly quickly start to get the impression better. Tofu was my lifesaver when I made this choice as it is so adaptable. As someone before me said, buy a cook book or walk online amd familiarise yourself with recipe to see how easy it is to get through well lacking meat. Have fun.

I suggest using a gradual approach, because here is more to being lacto-vegetarian than just stopping consumption meat. You need to swot up new recipe and you need to revise where to win all the nutrients from that you used to grasp from eating meat.

1) Stop intake red meat first.
2) Figure out which meals you cook are already lacto-vegetarian. Probably you each a few veggie meal a week without notice. Mushroom omelet, macaroni & cheese, risotto, breakfast cereal etc.
3) Buy a couple of good lacto-vegetarian cook books and gradually start study some everyday type recipes.
