They would be considered not lacto-vegetarian because they have eggs, milk products and possibly gluten within them.
Alot of vegetarians wont put away anything to do with animals. example: eggs , milk, cheese...
So although they enjoy no meat .. some vegetarians still wont touch them.

The unfrosted ones are; the icing on the frosted ones contain gelatin, which is the byproduct of a dead animal.Definitely NOT veggie friendly.
Last I heard, the frosted ones contain non lacto-vegetarian friendly ingredients.
