Vegetarian recipe do not include chicken or turkey. Try these sites. Also look for "The Moosewood Cookbook", it has juicy, easy lacto-vegetarian recipes using adjectives ingredients. You can also check out Vegetarian Times magazine on-line.

Try Indian food. There are lots of recipe online. Just search Yahoo for veg recipe.
check out goveg.com. they have toooons of recipe that are all lacto-vegetarian and vegan! great chore starting young! i would also suggest the Student's Vegetarian Cookbook. It get me going, and also has lots of info on getting the proper nutrients. The Vegetarian Manifesto is another great read near lots of great tips on nutrition, recipes, and how to business deal with tricky situations you might downfall up in one vegetarian.
I read lacto-vegetarian times and get great recipe from them. I also substitute a mixture of ground turkey and tofu for any recipe that calls for ground beef. Like contained by my lasagna and spaghetti sauces. Try it, you won't notice the tofu and you'll go and get a different protein source.

VEGAN CHILI RECIPE:
Ingredients:
olive oil
2 substantial yellow onions, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 red pepper, diced rather large
1 green pepper, diced relatively large
2 (28-oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 tablespoon cumin
1/2 cup ground carrots
1/2 cup ground celery
5 mushrooms cut into base
1 package frozen corn
2 can black beans (or any other kind of beans you approaching - chickpeas work well, too)
1 1/2 cup picante sauce
1 t. Kitchen Bouquet, browning sauce
saline to taste
grated cheddar, if desired
cashew nuts, if desired
Directions:
Saute onions contained by the olive oil. Add garlic. After onion and garlic are golden brown, donate cumin, cayenne, and any other spices. Cook for a few minutes longer.
Add the diced peppers and saute for a few minutes. Combine the crushed tomatoes, carrot, celery, mushrooms, corn, beans, browning sauce, and picante sauce into the crock pot; add the onion mixture. Cook on low almost 10 hours.
Serve with grated cheddar and cashew nuts, if desired.
