Difference Between Baker's Yeast And Nutritional Yeast?

Answer:
Bakers yeast is active and alive. It help flour to ferment and rise. Nutritional yeast is grown on blackstrap molasses, and is not live and will not cause foods to rise. Its loaded near B vitamins, and is in certainty the source that cattle get B12 from, since they do not produce it with ease. Its very robust, and a great source of b vitamins for vegetarians and vegans. It have a cheesy flavor, and can be made into a mock cheese sauce. It can be added to stews, gravies, stocks, smoothies, or just roughly anything. Its wonderful on popcorn. Very healthy stuff!
absolutely nought it works the same one is purely more money
There is a difference, definately do not try to substitute one for the other when cooking. Baker's yeast have a grainy texture and is used mostly within baking bread. It makes the bread rise (by converting the fermentable sugars into CO2). You can find it within the baking aisle at any grocery store. Nutritional yeast usually comes in flakes and is used as a vegan/vegetarian nutritonal supplement. It's loaded near protein and vitamins, most consume it for it's b-complex vitamins. It has a creamy/cheesy appetite in recipe, but my fave is to sprinkle it on vegan-buttered popcorn. I buy mine from the bulk section at my local form food store.
