Anyone know if the veggie dishes at Chinese restaurants are lacto-vegetarian? I'm open-handed of like a cat on a hot tin roof around order anything

I'm sure restaurants differ in their cooking methods...but which dishes are collectively cooked with meat/dairy/egg basis? Which dishes would I be relatively safe order? Thanks!

Answer:
You should be relatively safe order anything with a brown sauce. But respectively place is different; just ask. And if you want it different, of late ask them to make it that instrument. If you're at a restaurant they'll pretty much make anything you want, as long as they hold the ingredients.
They are. Just ask.
Just ask the waitress, many merely have veggies within them but vegan diet is enormously limiting, hope you don't make yourself sick sooner or later.
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN.. THAT'S WHY I DON'T EAT OUT .WE HAD A PLACE HERE AWHILE BACK (1984)THAT CLAIMED TO BE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN,IT WAS'NT THEY GOT "BUSTED"! SO, JUST BE VERY CAREFUL AND TAKE CARE.HAVE A GOOD&SAFE YEAR!
To my dismay, I discovered that most dishes listed as lacto-vegetarian in Chinese restaurants contain chicken broth. Many ethnic group think vegetarian/vegan purely means no chunks of flesh. (I've have more than my share of well-meaning relatives who offer you soup or stew and suggest you a short time ago 'pick out the meat'). Yuk! You gotta watch Thai food too-- almost adjectives the Thai sauces contain fish, and it is added to almost everything.
I now other ask-- even if the server has to if truth be told go ask the chef (if they are nice in the region of it I leave a bigger tip).
Fortunately several of the stir-fry dishes are very spur-of-the-moment to make and if you ask they will trademark it especially for you without any meat broths or non-vegetarian sauces. You will perceive a difference in nibble, though-- much more bland-- which will clue you in to how habitually you have unknowingly be consuming animal products in days gone by.
Usually restaurants that advertise as condition or natural foods are more conscious of diet restrictions--- or restaurants contained by university towns, "upper-end" neighborhoods etc. where they will return with more inquiries about the ingredients surrounded by the food.
P.S. As you probably know, there is no explanation a vegan diet will fashion you sick! In fact, it is a exceptionally healthy approach to live. Just add for a moment nutritional yeast to your cooking, or as a topping to brown rice, etc. and the B12 that is easier said than done to come by otherwise without dairy will be taken exactness of. Or fortified soy milk. Eat lots of varieties of preferably organically grown total grains, veggies, seed and nuts, soy products, and fruit...you will be making the very healthiest dietary choices.
when i go chines i shift to buffet. and there is partition that you can make you rdish by what you want and the guy infront of you of late steam it and cook it. it is very smooth. i even asked the guy no oil and cook it with the sole purpose with hose.
It depends upon the restaurant.

Many cities own a vegetarian association of some type, and they can comfort with anything local. The guide I've tabled is international, but I don't know if it's up-do-date.
your right, restaurants do differ within their cooking methods, but to get right down to the point you can ask the waiter/waitress, cheif, or even the planner about how and what they cook. i'm sure the reastruant's employee's will be more next happy to edify you about their food choices and even construct you a speical dish of all else fail.

happy tentative year!
