To be honest - TRUE conviction and determination.
Do not chomp through meat. Period. Eat, vegetables and other protein producers that do not contain meat.
Becoming lacto-vegetarian takes seriously of dedication. In addition to abstaining from meat, you abstain from anything derived from an animal or living organism. That resources that you cannot eat anything made from yeast: beer, bread; anything made from animal products: gelatin, urbane sugar; or dairy. Do some research before starting. Make sure that you develop a diet that will deliver tolerable protein, calcium and nutrition.
