Actually, I would vote that the Barnum brand are not vegan lacto-vegetarian friendly, as they do contain animal product.
However, the nabisco brand are animal and animal product free.
It really depends on how strict of a lacto-vegetarian you are and the ingredients in the cracker. There may be no meat contained by animal crackers, but that may not mean that it contains no animal products. I do not hold a box in front of me to look at so I cannot know what is surrounded by the particular animal cracker you want to chomp through. So the next time you enjoy a box, look at the ingredients list. Make sure nearby is no lard or gelatin for example.
