How do you take home Thanksgiving stuffing lacking a turkey?

We aren't making turkey this year but still want to enjoy stuffing. Is in that a way to spawn it without in actuality stuffing it inside a bird?

You can just put the stuffing surrounded by a baking dish. We always clear at least 2 extra pan besides what is in the bird and plentiful "experts" recommend not stuffing the bird anyway.

the other answers are great, It would be dressing, but if you aren't consumption meat there is vegetable broth that you can use for the juice of your dressing.

Of course in attendance is. The recipe is on the back of the purse. It's not even a good perception to cook stuffing in the turkey because within is a risk of cross contamination.

i buy the Peppridge Farms stuffing....the one near herbs and white and wheat bread... it have no animal by products in it.....

stove top stuffing already have chicken or turkey broth in it....

anyway....on the stove top...i combine the Peppridge Farms stuffing beside a can of vegetable broth (you can find both of these things anywhere...at Publix...at Walmart...wherever you shop)
and a short time margarine and it makes enticing stuffing... it is vegetarian but not lacto-vegetarian because of the margarine....

If u make it within a crockpot it's easy and it comes out sooo yummy and you don't enjoy to heat up the oven!!

Mama's Crockpot Dressing
1 cup melt butter
2 cups finely chopped onion
2 cups chopped celery
13 cups dry, crumbled bread
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 1/2 tsp sage
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp marjoram
3 cups veggie broth
2 outdone eggs
Melt butter in a ample roasting pan and saute onion and celery till sagging. Dump in adjectives seasonings and stir into the liquid. Next Dump within bread crumbs/cubes and toss together well. Pour surrounded by broth and toss together well. Add worsted eggs and mix together well. Pack delicately into a crock pot that has be sprayed with cooking spray.
Cover and cook on soaring for 45 minutes, then lower to low for 4 to 8 hours.

You can use an egg substitute if you similar to.
