Does meat really contribute to reproduction of brain cell, or is it of late protien?

I read once in a lacto-vegetarian masgazine that it's not healthy for pregnant mothers to be vegetarian because red meats contribute to the growth of the baby's brain.....is that true? Also, does that apply to growing children and adults, as far as brain cell reproducton?

Answer:
No that's not true. You can be a lacto-vegetarian when you are pregnant. Study show now, that more veg, you capture is better. Meat has to several sterile in it in a minute. That's why kids are growing twice there sizes. And that's not apt. The number one case of a heart attack is MEAT (PORK IS REALLY BAD FOR YOU). I be reading that when a person insensible they have 30% of meat within there body. It take 3 days to pass red meat out of the body and 5 to 6 days to elapse pork meat. You need your green veg. to lend a hand fight past its sell-by date cancer cell. If you are looking for some thing to give a hand with the brain cell it's FISH. Fish is the solely meat that you can eat that will sustain the brain and heart.
brain cell such as neurons do not reproduce, NEVER
Just protein , no event the source.
Meat is the primary source of vitamin B12 within the human diet. B12 is critical for healthy functioning of the disturbed system (chronic B12 deficiency cause nerve damage). Vegetarians enjoy a greater risk of B12 deficiency than meat eaters because of the denial of meat in their diet (both groups are at a legally high risk of not as much as as they age).

Vegetarians can prevent B12 deficiency by taking a on a daily basis B12 supplement.

Hope this helps you. Best wishes and well brought-up luck.
I hold never ever heard that. I would n't intuitively recommend eating red meat on any instance. I don't think a lacto-vegetarian mag would be promoting meat-eating , what would the vegetarian society enunciate?
Considering the Prion problem beside meat I'd think it would be the other mode around! CWD,BSE,CJD, Scrapie, Alzheimer's,Kuru etc, the list of meat born brain disease is pretty long!
