I am raw most of the time very soon, but family and friends aren't totally on the bus and make foods that I can't put away. How you do cope/handle soft situations like that minus hurting their feelings...and when you turn on holidays and stay with friends and ethnic group, how do you state your diet guidlines as best you can to them and do you have any tips to give support to them understand what you are doing? I enjoy Italian relatives who yes, like to chomp through pasta, white breads and meats, I am have a hard time and find myself intake those foods sometimes, either to please them or because I am really hungry and own been visit for a time. Any suggestions? Peace and Light
Answer:
Tough deal. I am not a Raw but own an incredible arrary of serious food allergies.
Pack yourself a meal ,snacks..even some to share. Then I devour what I can at their place along with my own rations.
Just be your sweet self & float thorugh this like it's no problem they'll help yourself to your clue of being unemotional.
Come on! If you are going to own such restrictive diet restrictions, bring your own food. I think it's rude that you expect them to bow to your strict restrictions
I agree with bluesea.
Why are you solely eating crude foods?
My wife is lacto-vegetarian, and we always know that if she wanted to hold more available to munch on other than a green salad during familial get-togethers, we would have to bring food near us. Either that or beg for directions to a grocery store.
It's one and only common sense. You cannot intrude your values and diet on anyone else. I'm an omni, and my wife may make comments once within a while aobut how gross eggs look when raw, or anything, but she respects my tastes, and I respect hers. The big oppose is not dining at home, but finding a decent restaurant where on earth we both can have a worthy meal.

I hold been vegeterian for give or take a few 10 years so all my friends and home know this is my choice. They understand that I will bring my own food and no one's ambience are hurt. I also offer to cook for them when I stay at someone's house. This road I get the food I similar to and they get to try something tentative, and it saves them the work of cooking. Everyone win.
I live with a man who is not vegeterian. He like the food I cook so that isn't a problem. When he wants meat he a short time ago cooks some to go near the dinner I cooked. I keep some things within the freezer (curry tofu, rice and beans, soup) for those days when he is cooking some meat and we dont want the hassle of having two meal going at the same time.
Jeeze! No one can read your question properly. Sad.
But, sorry, I'm not a raw-foodist, but I suggest that you try to find some other Italian coarse foodists out there. They can suggest traditional Italian dishes that are already natural that you can bring along to family gathering. It took a LONG time for my family to make a payment anything to the dinner table that I would eat (as I don't get through animal products and they do), so I just made my own dishes and added them to the table. They wouldn't even try my dishes, as if ingestion something without animal products would eliminate them or something. Eventually though, the regular family recipe were slickly altered, such as not putting butter in the mash potatoes, etc. I say, try mortal nonchalant in the order of it and say, “hey, I’m trying this hot way of intake and I’m going to see if I can stick to it.” Hey, there are some pretty chance diets women are on out there contained by order for them to lose solidity and it’s totally acceptable. It’s adjectives about how it’s presented sometimes. Just spawn certain they don't hold offence at it, resembling "hey, what's wrong with our cooking, you've be eating it your full life and suddenly you don't want to drink it!" Well, hopefully some real rawfoodists answer your quiz.
My mom is like peas in a pod way, here is what I enjoy done:
At family things, I other cook one main dish and one side dish for me, and satisfactory to feed some others. I get my mom to agree to try one bite of everything I make, whether unprocessed, vegan, lacto-vegetarian, or freegan! If she likes it, she can get through it and others in my familial will catch on and try it, except then I guzzle it and have disappeared overs! In your situation, your not cooking anything, so just bring your own food, or do your own shopping within their town. If you have to munch through "those" foods, restrict yourself to those dishes that are only lacto-vegetarian, trust me you can fill up on lacto-vegetarian dishes and please family and friends. Think of it as steps, first you move to vege, after vegan, later raw... pilfer as few steps back as possible to please general public, and remember, you can't please everyone... let them know that you own made this lifestyle choice, and they may not understand it, but they should respect it. But you obligation to remember, they can't respect it if you are subjecting them to something they didn't choose by expecting them to make you food!
