Why is in attendance no lacto-vegetarian "milk" chocolate?

Can't you just give soymilk to dark chocolate or something resembling that?

Answer:
There are a couple of 'problem areas' with making a lacto-vegetarian milk chocolate. From a technical standpoint it's incredibly hard to procure the chocolate to temper correctly (which effects the texture. If you'd similar to detailed information ask the question beside my friends at the first link. You'll find that the Terra chocolates are any much darker than something similar to a Nestle or Hershey bar or that they do contained by fact contain dairy ingredients!

The really serious problem is that (at smallest in the US) it's undemocratic! The USDA has *very* strict standards as to what you can put into chocolate and to 'do an come to an end run' through the FDA requires listing as a "dietetic" food which requires expensive sanctuary testing. The USDA in a minute allows vegan chocolate to be sold *only* if you license and use their food chemical addition "NuTrim". Search the second link if you're interested.

I first tried to gain approval to deal in vegan "Not Milk"(TM) contained by the late '70s and be turned down. In the '80s when we tried; we also distributed samples of our product and be arrested for "Distributing Adulterated Food Products". In the '90s they cracked a little bit and said we could market the stuff but only if the front sticky label stated in sizeable print "IMITATION ARTIFICIALLY FLAVORED CHOCOLATE SUBSTITUTE" and on the back sticky label listed WARNING: THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS ARTIFICIAL DAIRY INGREDIENTS". I've be kicked out of several congresscritters offices also<g>.

The dairy industry currently sell about 12% of their milk for chocolate. They own a *huge* influence in Washington and that's the basis you aren't going to see those rules relax much!

Oh; I've got marketing research to show at hand would be a heavy constraint for this kind of entity but you'll never see it (unless you're on my Xmas list<g>) for the reason programmed above<sigh>.
Maybe the lacto-vegetarian milk chocolate market isn't ample enough to claim an entire formula and factory dedicated to that.
sure.. if u want it to taste similar to anus
I'm no lacto-vegetarian. That's what happens when you become a lacto-vegetarian ... you don't get adjectives that stuff you really want like milk chocolate. I doubt a chocolate making company would turn to all that challenge to please the small percentage of vegans out there.

There is totally vegan milk chocolate! A brand call Terra Nostra makes one beside rice milk, and there are others. Check Whole Foods, I'm sure they own a selection.

In Australia here is a fresh soy chocolate 'milk' and it's damn tasty.

Grr, I seize cross at ignorant relatives who assume because you are vegan you 'have' to miss out on food.

I 'choose' to, not 'have to'. If you similar to drinking milk from cows, so be it, I like drinking milk from soy beans!
