When most of the vegetarians I've see post on here don't care for meat because of animal cruelty?
If for some unknown principle I hated vegetables, would I be comfortable beside a company that made green dyed hamburger shaped in the form of broccoli?
Answer:
Great ask! I don't know. It's not appealing to me. I prefer to load my sandwhich up near "real"-"fresh" veggies.
The whole shaped veggie burger (it's texture) & newly looking at the hot dogs make me gag.
People buy them for me when I step to BBQ's (out of kindness thinking I have a feeling left out) & no thing how hard I try I can't generate my self eat one.
*shivers*
So I own to say I individually am disgusted by them, however, I know many populace who eat them normally.
I guess the "fake veggie meat" works for some but not adjectives.
lately for attractive presentation more over the spices are almost thle same for both the dishes
Well, Not adjectives Vegetarians are not eating a veggy diet because of animal cruelty. I know reasonably a few who are trying it for the health benefits. They may own a hard time weaning themselves past its sell-by date of meat so that may be reason that som veggie burger are brown and texterized close to a hamburger. :) I know that Burger King, it sells a veggy burger, but you can see the vegetables surrounded by it and the only resembelance it have to hamburger, is its round shape. Thanks and take safekeeping xox
The weakness of meat has certainly nothing to do next to having the animal gutted or boiled alive while it is still screaming.
So I am confused as to why you connection one with the other.
I grew up surrounded by a very meat-and-potatoes relatives. I liked the morsel of meat, but I could no longer bring myself to eat it. Now I similar to the taste of FALSE meat and I don't have to verbs about cause an animal to run around with a half-slit throat until it slowly bleeds to annihilation.
It seems close to a great idea to me. Besides, if they didn't shape it close to a hotdog, how would a person know to guzzle it on a bun with veganaise and catsup?
:)
Daft.
What would you expect a hot dog to look like? Tomatoes?
Buy hot tomatoes patty!
Get it ?
It's by association that we remember. So go ahead an flaunt the existence of hot tomatoes and spend millions, or buy a veggie dog and spend the money on an animal shelter.
Unless you're repulsed by all other living creatures.
Well, I think the manufacturer make them similar to that for practical purposes. Why would a company shape a veggie burger like a green pepper? Then it couldn't be put contained by a bun!
Unfortunately, meat eaters are still the dominate consumer culture in the US. Veggies involve products that closely represent real meat surrounded by order to savour them.
Because the ancestors who make them get through meat and think that vegetarian are missing out on something so " we'd better make it look close to meat and then we'll vend more to those poor vegetarians who newly dont know what they are missing out on !"
The second time I checked, there are no animals that look approaching hot dogs or hamburgers. I don't see frankfurters grazing and hamburgers running.
Regardless of that, the point is that veggie burgers and hot dogs are not made from animals.
Why do you feel the involve to come in here? Do you discern the need to push buttons for some bizarre pleasure?
Well some vegetarian miss eating burgers and are lacto-vegetarian because they care for animals but miss the drink, so they want a substitute, at least its better than them ingestion real meat right? And also to prove to omnivores that they don't hold to give up pleasures and all-American foods resembling burgers. Course some vegetarians have a feeling the same means of access you do and hate pseudo meat, oh well to respectively his own, right?
It's more socially fitting that way. Because the product looks similar to meat has completely nothing to do near animal cruelty. eating an animal, and ingestion something that is not an animal but looks approaching it, are two very different things.
They really don't make it look resembling meat
if you really think nearly it. Most hotdog
and ground round packages have so
masses dies and colorings in them that
it is impossible to know what it's true
appearance is. However ,none of the
veggie burgers I get through have anything
artificial placed within to alter it's
appearance. Also, try putting a tofu
dog in boiling hose and see if the
water turns pink. Then place the
average frank another pot of boiling
sea observe the coloring of the
river. This will help you determine
which one is a more intuitive food.
