Why do race become vegans?

Being a vegetarian, i stopped drinking meat because i think its
parsimonious and slightly revolting. but i dont see why some pple choose to go the extra mile and stop drinking dairy products all together i tight why have such a strict diet? i would be so hungry w/o PIZZA!!

Answer:
I am not a lacto-vegetarian... but I understand why folks are. It's not that producing milk hurts a cow, or that laying an egg hurts a chicken. Instead... it's that the INDUSTRIES that create these products are so horrendously cruel to the animals within their care. For example... the dairy industry is closely related to the veal industry. For those unfamiliar... veal is produced by placing a newborn calf contained by a 22" box for some ungodly length of time... MONTHS... until it is slaughtered. It is fed nil but milk. It cannot turn around or even stand up. If it did... it would develop too much muscle, making the meat not so tender. Veal is a direct byproduct of the dairy industry. To keep cows producing milk, they want to be occasionally pregnant or their milk would dry up (or dry up to a point it wasn't producing enough to congregate industry standards). So these cows are impregnated, next their calves taken away and put into veal crates. That is why vegans (or at least like mad of vegans) don't eat dairy.

As for eggs, own you SEEN how egg farms house their chickens? Shoulder to shoulder, standing room individual, standing on wires all sunshine with 4ft piles of crap underneath them. You can smell a chicken arable farm from a mile away. Once the hens have outlived their usefulness, previously age two generally, they are shipped sour to the slaughterhouse to be turned into someone's next lunchtime. They live their entire lives unable to turn around minus running into another chicken, unable to roost surrounded by any natural route and often pecked to annihilation by other birds. I used to live near an egg fruit farm and I remember EVERY day, seeing the huge PILE of departed birds outside the buildings. It was disgusting.

Anyway... I do get through dairy and eggs. But I hate the industries I'm supporting by doing so. SO... I get a couple of laying hens. :) Now I hold my own eggs from chickens that have free run of my huge backyard. There are also "cage-free" eggs sold surrounded by most supermarkets these days. They're more expensive than "regular" eggs, but they're getting cheaper. Safeway within my area have a brand called Naturally Nested to be exact only 2.59/dozen... that's over a dollar cheaper than some of the others. As for milk... if I could find a respectable family unit farm who did not put up for sale their calves into the veal industry, I'd buy all my milk from them. Until after... I don't have much choice... I can't fit a cow within my backyard. :(
they own nothing better to do
Because they feel it is wrong to drink or drink anything that comes from an animal.
I've be wondering that same thing for a long time! What do they EAT!? vampire citizens!
some family dont believe in preganting cows a moment ago for our luxury. Also, milk creates mucus and phlem in the body. As far as eggs go, there are oodles different reasons. Nothing surrounded by the way of strength
Well, they meditate that eating any type of product from an animal is wrong. This includes dairy. I used to be a lacto-vegetarian but now the lone meat I eat is chicken, fish, and turkey.
I think it's similar to the premier league of vegetarians, so some vegetarian can feel morally superior to other vegetarian!
propose?

hahahahaha people who dont get through meat because its mean are retarded, sorry. its freshly my opinion.

you never see a lion chase down a zebra and consequently go "oh im sorry, i dont know what come over me"

we are at the top of the food chain, and our bodies NEED nutrients that are found surrounded by meats. theres a point for these animals...

but hey if you want to be anemic and bleed out through your skin due to thin blood freshly because a cow might have a discouraging day, thats your choice.
moral beliefs and personal convictions
they freshly feel virtuous about not consumption meat, and if they are not going to eat meat why drink meat products, and most vegans are animal rights activist, if you don't want animals to procure hurt you must stay from from animal products
Animals are society, too! I adopted a lacto-vegetarian diet for my health. Dairy have cholesterol. I have pizza, lacking cheese or with soy cheese.
I think some culture are becoming vegans because it's the "cool" thing to do right very soon. I totally agree that not eating dairy products is too strict. It doesn't impair the animals in any road (cows are actually self-conscious with a full udder) .
I don't know either I've be a vegetarian for olden times 4 years (since i was 11)
U dont like meat, they dont close to dairy, what the big ,deal, brb, my fried chickin is adjectives most done ,mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
okay i am vegan, and i would recommend you to dig out the internet for websites that explain why , for example, milk is bad ; or how dreadful the life of chikens is up to that time the are actually conquered to death.
And ofcoarse check out peta2.com- at hand is a lot of discussions on this subject.
Allot of negative responses to mortal a vegan. First of adjectives, I don't like drinking breast milk from a cow. Cow's breast milk is intended for a "COW" not a human. If you want to drink breast milk, drink human breast milk. Probably better for you since we are "HUMANS". Now onto the chicken embryos. When a chicken have it's period, it pass an egg, sound comfortable? Human women do this, except with chickens, we rally up there period, and fry them up for breakfast. Not very appetizing for me. But if you approaching it, well purely don't mention it either method.
associates are crazy
Because they enjoy a need to be permitted into a cult-like society.
Because,i don't be aware of the need to get through dairy products. It is crazy how much animal by-products are used in food. There are so frequent processed foods that contain animal by-products,its disgusting to me,I want to know what i'm eating. Before I be vegan I didn't know that when I be eating skittles and starburst I be eating division of an animal.
frosted mini wheats have gelatin also.So copious processed foods have animal by-products contained by them,i just stay away from processed foods because they enjoy ingredients that I cant even pronounce,I like to know what I am consumption. The other day I bought these little liquid drinks.I thought they were lacto-vegetarian friendly but they had D3.here are some unobserved animal ingredients i bet you didn't know what you are eating

L'cysteine hydrochloride (E920): manufactured from animal fuzz and chicken feathers, or synthetically from coal tar. Use/s: shampoo, rising agent for white flour

rennet: extract of calf stomach. Contains the enzyme renin which clots milk. Use/s: cheese making, junkets

sodium 5'-inosinate: occurs intrinsically in muscle. Prepared from fish lavish. Use/s: flavor enhancer

vitamin A (retinol): derived from fish liver oil or egg yolk. Use/s: cosmetics, food supplement

D3 (cholecalciferol): vitamin derived from lanolin or fish grease. Use/s: vitamin and food supplements

gelatin: jelly obtained by boiling animal tissues (skin, tendons, ligaments etc) or bones. Use/s: confectionery, biscuits, capsule, jellies, photographic film, game heads

glycerin/glycerol (E422): clear, colourless fluid which may be derived from animal fats, synthesised from propylene or from fermentation of sugars. Use/s: solvent for flavours, texture improver, humectant

isinglass: drastically pure form of gelatin obtained from the upper air bladders of some freshwater fishes, especially the sturgeon. Use/s: clarifying alcoholic drinks, jellies

oleoic oil: solution obtained from pressed tallow. Use/s: margarines

pepsin: enzyme found within gastric juices. Use/s: cheese making

its not tricky to find vegan shoes or cosmetics any.It may seem a moment or two "extreme" to be vegan but its not.it can be difficult at times i guess though. If I like milk and cheese and eggs i would probably only buy life dairy anyways,I wouldn't want milk from cows that have be given hormones to make them fatter and produce more milk.I didn't become lacto-vegetarian because of animal rights, but now I am against factory agriculture.that is something I definetly can't support.unless you buy natural dairy you are still supporting factory farms.
People become vegans because of Health issues or Animal rights. I am against Factory Farming however, I do eat meat from a Natural and Organic Farmer and local farmer. I own one two towns away. I have doctors directions to eat meat for the Iron. I am anemic so I need to listen to my doctor Plus, I devour more fruits and veggies and whole grain and Organic dairy.
