or is it like dairy, and once you don't hold it, you lose the enzyme to digest it?
Answer:
when you are a vegetarian, your body will downregulate the production of enzymes to digest meat.
When you switch your diet by consumption meat, your body will produce the enzymes in regular amount as response to your meal. As long as you are in shape, your body will cope with the change efficiently and massively well.
it would make you really sick at first, but you would slowly be competent too. my friend was a veggie for almost 10 years consequently decided to chomp through meat. it made her soooo sick, but she didnt give up and inside a few months she was fine.
hmm i dont know.. but whod wanna eat meat after self a vegetarian so long? accumulate the animals!!:D
Humans are born omnivores, you never loose the aptitude to digest meat. You might get the runs when you chomp through it the first time, as your body isn't used to it, but that will pass next to time. Start with white meat approaching pork or chicken, then work your course up to red meat. Be careful, once you obtain a taste for it, you'll never travel back. Yum
you may get a moment or two sick at first, but, you should be able to get through it. Humans are Omnivores naturally, we hold canine teeth, and our eyes are in the front of our head like predators... so you enjoy the capacity to munch through meat.
Hmm..interesting topic! If within fact we do lose the enzyme...the enzyme could not be adjectives that important presently can it? : )
he can when he get older it make no different to your sons future
It's a popular misconception that humans are omnivores. Our teeth and colon are that of herbivores.
That's why you see so many ancestors with huge bellies that stick out. Undigested meat rotting surrounded by their colons. Which leads to colon and prostate cancer.
He will always own a choice. Let's hope he picks the more healthy option.
He'll still be capable of digest it, although he'd probably have to nick baby steps to avoid getting sick. If you are raise him veg, just be sure to tender a multi vitamin or protein supplement because kids really do need the extra vitamins and protein, it doesn't business if it comes from meat or not as long as he gets it.
One of the sillier types of flak I've heard of.
My three siblings and I be all raise vegetarian, and while I still don't precision to try it, they all hold. Nary a problem reported -- but then, they didn't purely wake up one morning and enjoy steak for breakfast and squid for lunch, etc. If he changes his mind (a 1-in-4 accident he will not, by this insanely tiny sampling), it'll almost certainly start near just a few nibbles here and near, which shouldn't lead to any problems.
I have hear of vegetarians getting the 'runs' or opinion a bit sick...
If he wants to try it, permit him. If he's happy anyone veg, who cares!
I can't imagine that you are ruining his choice - I enjoy two friends who were raise strict vegetarian from birth but both started drinking meat at age 20... no problems at all. I've hear that you may feel a short time ill after the first meat breakfast time but then it's ok. Don't verbs about it!
