Answer:

We all know that animals die to provide us near meat. We all know that no issue how humanely you kill an animal you are still massacre it. Nutrition in this planet have advanced enough to obviate the stipulation for raising animals for food.
I hear once that in demand to raise one pound of livestock to marketplace, OVER FIFTY POUNDS of feed be put into it. That screams of inefficiency. Let's assume that singular half of to be precise fit for human consumption. That's still a ratio of 25 to 1. Now let's factor in the life consumption. You need to boil the barns, sterilize the slaughterhouses, drive the blaes of hay, truck the sacks of particle, process the feed, refrigerate theslaughtered product...Should I progress on?
How about the environmental effect? Factory-style breeding of poultry produces rubbish that is CAUSTIC. In establish to go into a chicken breeding house you call for a hazmat suit. But then you are going to EAT what comes out of it? And how, exactly do you ruminate mad cow disease become such a big scare? From contaminated nurture in a large-scale operation. And the gas emission from all these animals, and the animals lay in their own feces....I remember driving departed a small cattle farm surrounded by Southern California. It was other so hot... And there be this little shed in the middle of a dirt paddock without a single tree surrounded by sight. The cows be all crowded around this shed thatwas no bigger than three desks put together. Wow. Lots of shade they get. And lots of water too! I kept thinking that the FDA would enjoy a field daytime on the owner for neglect and mishandle, but "since all they would do is obtain killed anyway for meat, what's the difference?" would enjoy been what I hear had I call.
I'm not vegetarian, or lacto-vegetarian. My spouse is. And I am slowly finding myself agreeing more and more frequently with the theory of a meat-free lifestyle.
Like my wife says, "I'm not lacto-vegetarian because I feel sorry for the animals. I'm lacto-vegetarian because I cannot condone the killing of any energy for my sake." Not to say that she's a saint. If there's a bug contained by the house, chances are it will take swatted. But we are talking around more than just our ingestion preferences. The consumption of meat is having a intercontinental effect. Climate change is physical. Environmental impact starts with what we put contained by our bodies.
I predict that in the subsequent ten years the world will be a completely different place. I admire my wife for seeing the writing on the wall ably before that happen, and I support her decision, and I am taking my own steps toward joining her. PETA be damned. It's not give or take a few sabotaging poultry farms, or throwing paint on relations who wear fur coats. It's about individual a good world citizen.
