Quick Question: are vegans alllowed to drink candy?

I know vegans aren't supposed to eat meat, dairy, processed foods, ect., but what more or less sweets. Chocolate? I know i could never give it up. Just curious.

I'm not vegan. I'm not 100% sure but I don't see why you can't munch through candy. Chocolate has dairy contained by it but not all that much I don't meditate. Good luck and I hope you get at lowest possible half of a chocolate slab.
Vegans can get through candy and chocolate. They can't eat food that comes from animals. They can choose to munch through processed food but they wouldn't be a vegan anymore.
Vegans are strict vegetarians and exclude ALL animal products.
Chocolate is made next to milk, so no, a true Veagan would not eat chocolate. Double check the sign, you might find some that has no milk within it.
I surmise you're a tad confused."processed foods"?Some will drink milk, but not eggs. You're not killing anything by drinking milk. And what does chocolate hold to do with it??Chocolate comes from a plant !
Candy is tricky, not only because we vegans hold to watch out for milk, but also for sugar. Sugar companies filter the gooey sugar through charred beef bones instead of carbon to make it white. It's cheaper for them this route. So most vegans will only devour sugar that is certified lacto-vegetarian (such as agave nectar or Florida Crystals). When I buy candy, I look for the vegan records on the package, and I also will singular eat from guaranteed brands that I know are trustworthy.
yes. u can guzzle anything but meat. but it doesnt matter cuz your the one who controls your body.

btw, im a lacto-vegetarian and my doctor said i must eat fish because its the minimum meat i can munch through. it gives u protien.
have friends that are vegans and they get through chocolate - it's ok!
Why not?
Regular chocolate like the big corporations use own dairy, so we can't have that. But if you acquire dark chocolate or specially-made lacto-vegetarian chocolate, it's fine.
Other sweets are harder to tell. For example, skittles and starbursts hold gelatin, which comes from animals, so we can't eat that.

The single way to know for sure is to check the label or make things at home yourself.
No true vegans DON'T eat sweets because sugar is polite by a process that uses animal bones. So they avoid it. They would avoid all dairy chocolate anyway because of the milk content, never mind the sugar.

BTW Vegetarions don't devour any fish, and if you do eat fish you shouldn't give the name yourself a vegetarian as it isn't accurate. Vegetarians don't munch through anything that once lived.
