well, I enjoy been a lacto-vegetarian for about 5 months and I lost 10 lbs but I shouldnt be losing substance cause I am 13 and my doctor is worried..........

Yes but I also stopped drinking sweets and drinking sodas when I became I lacto-vegetarian. But most people do lose some shipment when they become vegetarian because meat does own more fat than most lacto-vegetarian food.

Depends on what kind of lacto-vegetarian you are. I am the kind of lacto-vegetarian who cooks most of her meals. I lost rather bit of weight, but that be OK since I was already five pounds overweight. I met someone who be a vegan of omission and she be so skinny and had to jump to the doctors cause she be anemic (needed iron) plus her hair be falling out all the time. Because she did not pilfer care of the nutrition she needed, the doctor give her alot of shots and meds. You have to look to vegetables for your nutrition, and be smart surrounded by what you are eating.

Not at first. Your body is used to getting so many calories a daytime and when you cut back it starts hoarding adjectives the calories it can get. So at first you might even seem to be to get a bit fatter, but after a while your body will adjust and you might lose some weight.
