About the lacto-vegetarian meat?


If vegetarians don't get through meat then why is bean curd shaped as sausages, mince, chicken breast ...everthing that vote meat but thats not of it

I'm vegetarian, i see what you anticipate, why do they make lacto-vegetarian meat? I personally dont munch through that ****, i eat other stuff, but i suppose it is for culture who have be meat eaters and turned vegetarian that miss ingestion meat but dont want to eat meat because of massacre animals. It's fair plenty, if they like it.

Teena M - why shouldn;t your friend want to receive the taste of authentic chicken, or bacon or whatever, in need wanting to sacrifice her veggie principles - it is the killing of the animals to some extent than their taste that vegetarian don;t like...

Just because a person chooses not to get through the flesh of an animal anymore does not mean they do not approaching the flavor. I finally gave up chicken more or less a year ago and am thrilled that there are substitutes.

It does not business the shape of it, We KNOW it's not meat. Regardles of that, the consumer doesnt make the shape or creation the stuff. We have no control how the companies agree on to shape the food.


Most vegetarian that I know, including me, don't actually devour that stuff unless we are trying to fit in near meat eaters or to feed meat eaters at our meat-free houses.

If I'm going to a BBQ I'll rob a veggie burger just to fit surrounded by so I don't have to formulate a fuss. Those kind of products also engineer the initial transition to vegetarianism easier as the foods are more familiar.

I confess a fearfulness for quorn sausages though; they just chew good!


I love meat. It is seriously my favorite point to cook and to eat. However, I lately stopped eating any meat that I can't buy locally or organically. I stopped because although I don't own a problem with bloodshed and eating an animal, too frequent animals are treated horribly and killed increadibly clearly. I try not to eat any animal if I haven't have an opportunity to see how it lived.
Since I am on a college budget, I can't really eat meat anymore because local life meat is very expensive. I own found however, that many artificial meat are actually tremendously good. It's nice to hold the taste and almost the texture of meat every so habitually. It makes it easier for me to be a conciencious omnivore.
There are also some, approaching garden burgers, that don't even try to duplicate the taste of meat. I resembling those the best. They taste correct, and they aren't trying to be something that they aren't.
I think the point is most vegetarians be previous meat eaters. It is kinda like when Mexicans will put jalapenos on everything, ever if it is a hamburger or pizza. We adjectives like what we are used to. (didn't denote to make a suggestion to only Mexicans, but that example come to mind, not trying to be racist, I love mexicans and their style of food) :-)

I think most associates become vegetarians because the believe it is able-bodied or they do not want to eat animals. It is not necessarily because they construe meat is gross. Some people eventually find meat drinking gross, but it doesn't mean they didn't miss the memories or flavors.

For me, I missed unquestionable things, that's why it was nice when they made a lacto-vegetarian version, of utter turkey slices. I just don't want to get through dead animals, but would relish eating products that are close to meat, just not meat. We resembling to eat what we are used to.

They voice it is easier to change a man's religion than his diet. The fictitious meat products just spawn it easier, and then you don't perceive you are out of your comfort zone.
I find people that own been veggie for longer tend to use those characteristics of things less... it's more impressive for making it seem natural and not having those having to renovation the diet of a whol family if they can substitute veggie stuff for the meat part of the pack in an arrangement approaching 1 child veggie. Or fitting in at a BBQ or house meal etcetc

Also sausages and burgers are lately shape. They don't come out the animal that shape and are generally relatively processed. So meat brugers and sausages are no less "fake" than veggie ones. No-one give meateaters copyright over what shape food is.
Because all your time growing up, you probably ate hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage, etc., and it is good that nearby are vegetarian hamburgers and hot dogs, etc, because you can be lacto-vegetarian and still enjoy hamburgers and hot dogs minus having to verbs that it is actually ruthless meat that you are eating.

Growing up (when I be a kid before I be vegetarian) I used to love hamburgers and hot dogs. Although, even at the young age of 7 or 8 years aged, I thought hamburger meat was gross, and when it be hamburger night, I told my mom to fashion mine really really thin, close to the Krystal burgers, thin. Around more or less that age I stopped eating hamburger meat contained by spaghetti too, so I always know that I haven't liked meat.
I remember biting into the "grissels" contained by the hamburger and realizing that it be some hard "grissel" that come from the animal meat not being chopped up ample or was too tough to be chopped up, and since that age meat resembling that has other grossed me out.

What is crazy, is that sometimes when I am eating the veggie hamburgers, I will bite into something i.e. kind of tough every now and later (which is probably a bean or part of a bean) but it quality of grosses me out even though I know there is no meat contained by it. Meat is gross to eat.

But anyways, it is accurate to still eat stuff you enjoy without in actuality eating meat.
