My boyfriend like to make it near ground turkey, brocolli, mushrooms, sometimes carrots and sometimes shrimp. He'll cook the meat contained by the pan first after add the other ingredients. He'll include a sauce to it for more taste approaching teriaki, or soy. You can cut a brat in partly, then into pieces and put it contained by, too. It adds a different flavor.
It adjectives depends on if you are willing to try something that isn't middle-of-the-road...like BEETS!

They really are angelic if prepared correctly (and not sweet...ick).

Take young beets and remove the greens (save for later). Wash them really very well and place them in a soup tub with some dampen and white balsamic vinegar and kosher salt. Heat on low and cover for 30 minutes. Let it sit after the 30 minutes for an hour, still covered.

Grill the beat over an open flame and serve next to feta (or soy cheese crumbles)
