What is your personal point for becoming a vegan/vegitarian?

im just curious...

Answer:
In the initiation it was appetite - meat just taste DEAD to me, and I couldn't put it in my mouth. Later I become aware of the health and environmental advantages, and I indubitably like not contributing to the suffering and extermination of animals.

Once I was driving within the Western US and we went bygone a feedlot maybe a mile or two away. If I have not been a lacto-vegetarian already, the odors from that feedlot would have made me one! To muse that sentient creatures are being kept surrounded by conditions such that the smell is nauseating even a mile or more away is really terrible. And that empire would eat a creature that have breathed in that stench for days or weeks - oh, yuck!

I used to be a lacto-vegetarian. My reason be wanting to eat well again. Plus, meat kinda grosses me out.
well again life
because i dont think is tolerant killing an animal for us to chomp through when we can eat fruits and vegetables...cows are hit contained by the head first (wit sum charitable of machine) dis faints dem...the man cuts them within the neck so the adjectives the blood can come out their system (cows are still alive so they are feeling adjectives dis pain) they do it while the cow is still alive so the heart can pump out all the blood...dat is raw!! if u have see faces of disappearance it shows how ppl get kill n stuff but it also shows how sum animals get brutally kill for food production
theres no point within been a vegan/vegitarian...whats the point of have salad with approaching 50 pills along with it to carry the things u need sick rather hold a thick chunky piece of steak and attain it all surrounded by that
Religion.
I was never a foremost meat eater...only ate it when my body craved it, which be about once a month.

I become vegan when a report come out about diabetics have success beside lowering their numbers on a vegan diet.

I'm 2-1/2 months into it and enjoy greatly reduced my numbers. I feel so much better and am have less hypoglycemic moments.

I guess my reason sound inconsiderate as they have more to do next to my health a bit than the well-being of animals.

By the way, great press...I'm anxious to read the answers as people post them.
I don't know if I can actually do it, but I like Linda McCartney's rule of thumb. She said she wouldn't eat anything that have a face.
Because I dont think an animal should hold to suffer and die so I can eat meat, its avoidable harm
When I was within fourth grade I lived contained by Gilroy on a farm next to my grandma and grandpa, the government give him a subsidy to not grow garlic since so many folks grow it out there,so we have a ton of animals.I used to eat ground beef, ham, and adjectives kinds of meat.I used to take attention of all the animals, they be like pets to me.Then my rotweiler kill one of the ducks we had,and my grandpa scalped it and cooked it,I ate lacking knowing it,I thought was chicken or something, but i know it was different and i asked him and he told me it be the duck. That made me realize everytime I ate meat I was ingestion a living breathing, thing, freshly like my duck. For me that would be resembling eating you're on pet dog after it died.I'm sure not a soul would want to do that.
to lose loads of counterbalance
i don't resembling meat and a lot of it make me sick [throw up]. so when i was 15 i settled to become a vegetarian because it be much easier than having to verbs about whether i be going to be ill or not . Also, i don't give attention to it's fair to be bloodbath animals for food.
