If a veterinarian is not a lacto-vegetarian, would you consider the doctor to be a hypocrite?

Answers:
I think if someone considers themself an animal lover all the same eats meat, next they are a hypocrite.
As long as he's not eating cats and dogs no :).

How several people brake for an animal contained by the road thereby saving it's go and then lead for a hamburger.
no not at all
Sorry, but that's right up in attendance with "Some of the dumbest question ever asked". Think about it.
This give somebody the third degree is flawed. Is a Dr. that administers poisonous injections a hypocrite? Is a bicycle mechanic that drives an automobile, a hypocrite? This could go on adjectives night.
no...
Cows are made to be eat, but that doesn't mean that they should spend their lives within pain. They deserve doctors too, even if their final fate is on my dinner plate!
Not at adjectives. What the doctor chooses to ingest is his or her business and his alone. Well, unless it's a human doctor that eats human flesh, but that's another story.

But here really is nothing wrong next to eating meat if that's what the doctor have decided to do. S/he is not necessarily inflicting cruelty upon animals... they may catch meat/milk/eggs from local farmers that are kind and responsible. They may guzzle "normally" for lack of a better word, and all the same still cruelty-free by purchasing products made by cruelty-free companies.

And even if they grill burgers from time to time, it's entirely possible that they hurt animals less than some vegetarians/vegans might by shipping synthetic products (ie faux meat, soy milk, egg substitute) from massive factory across the country.

So, no, as long as the doctor carries him/herself surrounded by a polite and professional manner and does his/her profession well, I don't vigilance what they eat.
uhhhh no they precision for animals, they're diet doesn't matter!
Yeah, it's a despoliation of the oath they took.
this is actually a pretty interesting sound out. I've never thought about it. Really, I contemplate it's kind of a conflict of interest verbs the veterinarian's part to munch through meat, but then again, a short time ago because he/she likes to get through a good burger immediately and again, doesn't mean that he/she doesn't want to give support to save a kitten or stitch up a dog's leg.
I've be a Veterinary Technician for over 18 years and have worked next to close to 100 Veterinarians in that time. I can explain to you for a fact - nearby are many Veterinarians who don't really attention to detail for animals that much. It is just a trade path for them - smaller number costly & intense than medical school and you can gross decent money at it! If they don't know what is wrong beside your patient - they prescribe antibiotics, steroids, and fluids - later they cross their fingers. Also, there are incredibly few malpractice cases - your patients can't talk.

I guess it is simply like the doctor who smokes, or the police officer who does drugs, or the priest who sexually abuse children. Hypocrites are common and everywhere.
yes! if they hold a passion for helping animals, why would they shift home and eat them? if my mom(a surgeon) be a cannibal, would you let her operate on you?? i ponder not. also, my father is a vet and they do not at all of late help cats and dogs. horses, pigs, sheep, if you live by a arable farm area, your clinic or bureau could be visited by them
"I trouble about and serve SOME animals ... but not other animals."

That's pretty much what a non-veg vet is saying. It's not necessarily hypocritical, but only contradictory and unjustified. I don't like it when a vet is non-veg but hey. What're ya gonna do?
