For example...let say you ask "What is better taste, pasta or carrots?" They cant be compared because they are not even related. That is why population say "Thats close to comparing apples to oranges"
To be honest I don't know what opposites medium. I just love both of them and own at least one apple and 2 oranges a daytime. Does that say something around me I wonder?
