Jelly Belly jelly beans. Although they can be bought any time of the year, I first tasted them on an Easter a few years support and they have be an Easter Tradition ever since.

I like pecan eggs--a vanilla nougat center, dipped within caramel and rolled in pecan pieces. Elmers of New Orleans sell them. The factory is actually in the region of 50 mi away in Ponchatoula, LA. They used to bring in 12 oz eggs with chopped candied fruit within the nougat about 25 yrs ago. I preferred that over a picnic basket or a chocolate bunny. Elmer's made other candy eggs that size too, gold brick fudge for one.
