Now, as for the sweet snacks... that really depends on your blood sugar and what you can handle. I suppose you can enjoy aspartame or sugar alternatives but they generally aren't worthy for you (they have be shown to be nerve toxins contained by some cases!) There's a plant also, I can't believe I forget the name.. but the plant taste very sweet, and it's much better for you than any pharmaceutical. You could use the plant to kind cookies, snacks, whatever, near no sugar and still a sweet taste... do a dig out for diabetic alternatives to sugar and you should find it.
