My son (almost 2) seems to be going on a food strike. He have NEVER been a picky eater and usually eat anything I give him. He especially loves chicken breast and green beans.
All of a sudden over the finishing few weeks he's become SUPER picky and only wishes to eat carbs...pancakes or waffle fro breakfast, pasta for dinner, cheeze-it's, rice cakes, animal crakers, grahm crackers...anything carbs. I can still seize him to eat fruit, yogurt and cheese, but he won't drink his normal chicken or any veggies.
Any tips? Any design how i can get him to chomp through "regular" foods again? I give him a multi-vitamin everyday, and own started to give him V-Fusion to sustain get him a LITTLE veggies...
HELP!!?!!

we have this same problem! your son is at the age when he is learning that you and he are not one and the same person. he is realize he can control his own environment (probably saying "no!" alot too). it is classic for small children to engross in power struggles next to their parents by refusing to put away what or when you want them too. your best bet to avoid extending the problem or, worst case, encouraging an drinking disorder, is to just craft healthy foods available at regular intake times. let him drink what he wants from the plate (no desert of course) and avoid unwell snacks. eventually, he will get backbone to a more normal intake routine.
ps, watch for other symptoms, only just to ensure he doesn't have a flu or other medical condition.
