My dad puts butter in his chili, on his oatmeal, drowns his popcorn...come to come up with of it, I think he uses butter on basically about everything. (Not cake, though, approaching above...that doesn't even sound upright...sorry!)
I put butter on sandwiches, banana bread, adjectives my cooked veggies,
I cook with butter adjectives the time, so everything has butter within it usually. The sandwiches are the one piece I can think of not every one does.

I don't know how common or extraordinary this is, but I put a thick band of butter on bread and have butter sandwich. I also scramble eggs with butter. And put butter on any microwaved bread item, such as cheese danish or honey buns.

I'm weird but I close to butter on spaghetti instead if pasta sauce(sometimes).
