My local organic walmart supercenter sold it almost 2 months ago. Haven't seen any within stock lately. It was corn on the cob, but the corn kernals where on earth purple. The outer husks were still the run of the mill green color. Anyone know where I could pick up some more of this purple corn? Makes for a great knees-up food. Roasted purple corn on the cob.
Answer:
I'd say that its out of season, you could attempt to contact a local produce warehouse. Also if your surrounded by the Cincinnati area try a place call Jungle Jim's they have everything.
try googling for it..
Purple corn is set as "maiz morado." As far as I know, it is available mostly in Peru. If near is a Peruvian market implicit you, maybe they transport it.
Good luck!
I would try a farmers souk & if you dont have these close by then look up contained by a seed catalog if nohing else but to see where on earth & what area its grown surrounded by.
