Is it true if you imbue clear plastic loads near hose that will sort flies run away?

just sea? do yuo add anything to the sea? I heard that inhabitants do this , but does it really work?

Answers:
not true... unless you're missing something in the description. There's nought about a pouch full of water that would "scare" away the flies.

Why wouldn't a chalice of water work if a plastic daypack works?
I've seen flies contained by restaurants with pitchers of sea. Those flies stayed.
I never heard of dampen, but I know vinegar works. Fill a cup with white vinegar and the flies will walk away.
yes it is true.we live out in the country where on earth ppl have horse's and cows so at hand are lots of flies at times...i put a clear zip lock sack about partially way full of only water right outside my front door so i can go away it open sometimes and never enjoy a problem with flies...we even put it up when we bbq..some where on earth close to the bbq pit...and flies stay away..i dont know why it works it just does
I tried it several summers ago. Did not appear to make much of a difference.
