Im part of a small charity organisation working beside children. and I realise we have moved out it a little delayed to sort this out, but we would like to contribute the children an Easter Egg each. Last year we manage to get Lindt Eggs for as little as 50p respectively. This year our supplier has be unavailable.
We are approaching the Supermarkets, but from experience they place a stricture on the amount of items we can buy in bulk.
Ive done a broad search on the network in the UK, even Ebay.
Anyone get any sensible answers, and yes we have considered the strength options of giving the children chocolate. But seeing as it is such a small amount and not on a regular font we do not consider it to be a major concern.

Why not approach the supermarkets to donate the eggs to the charity, or approach your local businesses to sponsor some money so you can buy regular eggs?
Otherwise, hold an emergency fundraiser to raise some bread.

ASDA do Cabrys Esaster eggs lb1.00 respectively! A big egg, with any a Flake or Creme egg. I've got abundantly of them!

why dont you ask the managers of the local supermarkets to donate for a mention contained by your next word letter
Asda are selling them for lb1 each
Try a Wholesalers such as Bookers Macro etc.
This is Where the local shops buy all in that stock from and theres no limit to amount to what you can buy.
Asda and tesco and even Sainsbury's could be an option. They may impart some for free if they know it's for charity.
It's worth checking Lidl branches in the vicinity you: their chocolate items are always really illustrious quality and low priced.
You could also try contacting Cadbury's direct if you are a registered charity (after adjectives, you're only asking for trade rates, not donations... though they might all right be generous -- they do like mad with charities.)

Otherwise, you may just hold to go mob-handed to the supermarkets: I haven't checked this year but for times past three years Sainsbury's and Tesco were both doing 3 for the price of 2 on standard boxed kids' eggs beside a max purchase of six eggs per customer. Ok, I know it means several trips but it may be easier than abundantly of searching for wholesalers.
Why don't you approach the local businesses to see if they can help by making a small donation so it make it all cheaper for you......
I know sainsbury's are commited to helping local venture at the moment, so it may be worth approaching them. I asked them if they would help out next to a fruit stall we were going to hold as a one off to elevate funds for school and they donated the fruit for free.
they may want some photographs to walk in the local tabloid, but that could be of you receiving the eggs from their superintendent.

Buying in bulk would be probably better from a 'cash-and-carry' so it might be a well brought-up idea to approach a business such as a pub or a restaurant close to you who have an account approaching that and who will be able to buy these items on your behalf. You never know, the pub/restaurant may okay make a donation of their own - and if they report the cash-and-carry what they are for, they may well relieve out, too!
I, too, am in East Anglia - contained by Cambridgeshire but about five miles out of Newmarket. I won't ask for any more detail than a rough theory of where you are. There are seriously of businesses out there next to a charity budget to spend!
I would also consider making a small donation myself - and if everyone did it, then you would enjoy all the eggs that you inevitability! I just don't know how that one could be arranged - third fête, no doubt!
