I think onion. In Asian cooking, ginger and garlic are recurrently used to counter-balance each other. I ruminate cinnamon is dessert spice in a similar flavor variety with ginger. So to pick a flavor within a similar flavor range near garlic, I thought of onion. On the other hand, if you get a mouthful of cinnamon and it was thoroughly hot, and you wanted an antidote, I come up with drinking milk would be your best bet.
