Aluminum Foil...which side is better to cook near? Shiny or dull?

Answer:
There is no difference. The reason why one side is matte is because that's the result of how it comes out of the rollers within the factory.
I always cook next to the shiny side facing outwards, but thats just me. I dont know if near really is a proper way to do it.

=]
outside is shiny, contains steam
Supposedly, the shiny side reflects boil, therefore longer cooking time. Dull side absorb heat=shorter cooking time. I always forget to check if it's true.
Shinny on the outside is my route lol but who really knows I don't reflect Ive ever read the directions for the correct usage of aluminum foil ... Something I must do one day
it does not concern.
