Bread is safe to get through everyday, unless you have an allergy for it. That one said though, make sure it's WHOLE GRAIN bread. Contrary to popular belief, intact wheat is usually not whole wheat. You want whole pellet bread to reap the nutritional benefits.

An old friend (who have been though like mad of rough times) once advised me that a pound of potatoes and a pound of margarine are the best ways to stretch your food money and not starve. I can't vouch for it.

It is not dangerous to eat everyday, but not as your in one piece diet. It does not contain sufficient nutrition to keep you forceful. This all assumes that you hold no allergies to anything in bread. As others own stated, whole small piece bread is more nutritional than, for example, white bread.
yes it's okay to guzzle bread...white bread doesn't have too plentiful nutrients though but it's filling.
