5 Vegetables a Day?

Does this include potatoes and if so, are chips and crisps covered?

Today I tried to make my 5. Here's what I ate today within the order of drinking:
Coffee:
Coffee 2:
Tea:
Fruit and fibre cereal skimmed milk
Heinz Tomato soup beside brown bread and pomegranat juice.
Cheshire cheese and bread.
Banana.
Leftover cheese sandwich that son did not munch through.
Some tuc biscuits.
Chalotte potatoes.
Chicken kiev.
Roast asparagus with black pepper.
Long brocolli thingys next to the shoots attached.
Suger peas.
fruit selection (strawberry, melon, pomegranat, pineapple).

Answer:
It looks approaching you've done more than your 5 a day! This is more fruit and veg than I would consume within a week! Well done Mr. Healthy - can you come and cook for me.x
Yes at least 5 unit there.
A part is about 80g. more or smaller quantity.

Dont count potatoes, rice, pasta - all are lashing carbs.
any amount of juice is 1 component.
That is a pretty healthy diet. Potatoes are really counted as a starch, not a vegetable. Your tomato soup does count, though, as does the roast asparagus, broccoli rab and sugar peas. If you verbs about it, try tally a glass of V-8 as a attach on to a snack or as the snack itself.
well done, improved than me!
five vegetables and two fruits, looks good to me. mine be
2 coffees
2 poached eggs with unbroken grain toast and cottage cheese
1 apple
steamed rice beside sardines, broccoli, peas and tomatoes
roasted quinces & yoghurt
leg ham with pumpkin, beans, brussel sprouts & flotilla beans
glass of milk
rice pudding
Potatoes do not count as a vegetable.they are surrounded by the starch category.
Asparagus, Broccoli and Sugar Peas qualify...tomato soup is borderline. You didn't quite engineer 5 veggies.

Try adding some leafy greens (cooked or raw) and some rare veggies like carrot or celery.
A salad is a good path to get adjectives your veggies because you can add so masses varieties.
No dude.Spuds don`t count and not adjectives crisps are 100% spuds you know.Having eaten adjectives that veg and fruit, you most certainly have your 5 aday! The fruits in the fruit and bran are 1,the soup is 2,banana 3,asparagus 4(if you had at lowest 4 shoots),handful of brocolli florets 5,peas 6,fruit selection 7.Going by these, you have more than enough.if you did this everyday you`d be scandalously healthy.
no it does not include potato or chips, nor does it include soup of any generous. but the rest of your diet seemed very well balanced for a morning.
Not bad, but potatoes don't count as a vegetable. But you did your 5 sunshine as you ate a mixture of fruit and veg
Potatoes don't count towards your portions - but don't worry - the aim is for 5 portions of fruit and veg - not of late veg on it's own, and you have smoothly achieved!

Crisps would count if they are made from parsnip, beetroot or any of the other veg you can enjoy - just not from potatoes I'm afraid.

The soup does count, despite what a previous poster have said - the portions can be fresh, frozen, chilled, canned, dried or liquid - so your pomegranate counts. However, you will only draw from one portion a day from liquid, however much you have.

The switch is to aim, as you have, for lots of different types, fairly than, say, intake five apples a day, because they adjectives have different condition benefits.
