Dinner: Southern fried chicken with mash potatoes and gravy truly made from drippings. Green beans on the side.
Breakfast: Grits and biscuits! Pecan pancakes. :)

You enjoy all the great answers already, immediately I'll tell you how to generate that wonderful chicken. In a bowl, beat 2 eggs. In another bowl mix 1 cup cornmeal and 1 cup flour and 1 tsp. saline. Preheat a skillet with vegetable grease. Dip the chicken pieces in the eggs, after into the dry mixture. If you want it extra crispy, repeat the process. Put them into the skillet to cook. Enjoy.
dinner would be crawfish etouffee over rice

I'm not truly southern, but my aunt was from Baton Rouge. Best breakfast she ever served me be scrambled eggs with hot sauce and a ton of pepper, and grits next to a ton of butter and pepper and hot sauce.

Southern style money flavorful.Dinner would be Chicken and dumplings,with sweet tea.I would and do cook a padding breakfast.Crispy bacon,eggs over easy,grits,and biscuits.I love some grits for breakfast.I make a payment cream cheese to my grits water to bestow it a real rich flavor.Give it a try.Good food....
