Mine be open for just about 3 months. It didn't have an expiration date, so I figure it was similar to ketchup and still used it. Nobody at the party get sick.
You can trust Tahini. It's at lowest possible as durable as peanut butter in any type of jar. Mine are usually used up within four weeks though, but it have never gone bad on me, ever. Keep it contained by the fridge though.
