I honestly don't know, but I really don't think to be exact true. Let's think give or take a few it for a minute. Have you ever fell asleep with gum within your mouth? When you woke up the next morning, the gum have pretty much broke up into pieces - from being surrounded by your saliva and not being chewed. The saliva have enzymes in it that get going to digest food. So just envision, if that happens to the gum overnight, near just saliva, see what happens to it within your stomach with stomach acerbic! I just don't believe it make it for years.

Yes. I swallowed a peice of gum that was not finished. 4 years then it came out and sure adequate it still had some flavor moved out.
More probable that it will only stay for a few weeks if anything. Stomach acids are extremely strong, and zilch would last surrounded by there for so long.

No, it is not true. It just go through your whole system and comes out surrounded by your poop. It does not get digested because in that are no nutrients in it that your body uses. It comes out of your system at like peas in a pod time that the other foods you ate that day come out.
