Tripple espresso.
It depends on several factor.
French Roast is the darkest coffee roast of Starbucks, as with most coffee houses. It's more caustic than Espresso Roast, and more bitter. French roasts are usually ground for press-type coffee brewers, while the Espresso roasts are good for espresso maker. If you have a coffee press, later your best bet would be to use French roast.
If you want more caffeine, then you should switch to something that hasn't be roasted as darkly as French and Espresso. The rule of thumb is, the darker the coffee, the smaller quantity caffeine. More caffeine is released into the air the longer the coffee beans are roasted. It's a misconception that a 2-oz. espresso shot have more caffeine than your regular 8-oz. cup of regular coffee. Thus, a French roast would have smaller quantity caffeine than an espresso roast, but only marginally.
I workat starbucks.. inVA, go next to the expresso roast. French is a bad blend of coffee. Its in recent times strong, with the expresso you gain full bodied flavor.
Espresso is the best my friend.I wouldn't get nil less than an espresso! In certainty...I think I'll dance get one presently.
