Why do they have an expiration date on the bottle when the sticky label says it take thousands of years to drip down the mountain to the spring where it's bottled?

No, it's simple. The plastic contained by the bottle starts to decompose after a confident amount of time, hence the expiration date. It could poison you.
because it is bottled,and probably have stuff added to it.
once surrounded by the bottle it changes it's structure cos of the plastic around it.
