Diet Coke is sweetened with aspartame, an artificial sweetener, and have 1 calorie. Coke Zero is sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium (ace-k) and have zero calories. Because Coke Zero have less aspartame, it have less of that artificial sweetener fondness and tastes more similar to real Coke.
This is straight from the horses mouth (Coca Cola)...check out the source. It's pretty amusing.

They have different sweeteners. Diet Coke have aspartame (Nutrasweet), and Coke Zero has Splenda.
Basically the only difference is the christen. However Coke Zero does taste more close to real Coke.
alike answer as "what's the difference between
crap with corn and crap beside peanuts?"
Coke Zero is suposed to tast similar to regular Coke without the Calories. I consider they got pretty close near it
The amount of calories, the taste. Zero only just seems to taster smoother. IT's not as close to being sweet. Diet seem sweet,I'm not sure why that is. but not resembling regular coke is.
of late the artificial sweetener, i believe...taste isn't much diff., ponder its just a sale gimick and a way to proffer dieters a choice of artificial sweeteners.
Coke Zero doesn't have calories but an alternate sweetner (Splenda), while diet coke doesn't own sugar at all.
