I hold tried the fried Twinkies and oreos... The twinkie was alright... not the oreo though... (I deduce it's cause the grease wasn't hot enough for the oreo's batter, so it be just greasy)
I know they trademark a fried snickers bar too...

Yes, it's of late funnel cake made with coke instead of wet. I think it's over-rated and not really adjectives that great.
I didn't read or see the article. But Coke is a fluid. You can't fry it without it evaporating. Baking beside it doesn't taste well brought-up either.
