Is Mountain Dew an addiction?

Is mountain dew an addiction whats ur views ? tons people drink it but it is from time to time addvertised just on bilboards and when the x games are on tv.

Answer:
As everyone above have answered, you can definitely be aware of "addicted" to MD or any other caffeinated beverage. However, your body has become dependent upon caffeine due to repeated use (tolerance have developed). If you were to stop drinking MD you would suffer bill, which in my experience be marked by a severe headache and fruitless mood. However, tolerance and physical dependence alone do not constitute addiciton. Addiction and abuse involve familiarity of the substance interfering with your vivacity (relationships, work, etc.) and the person still putting forth significant energy to obtain the substance. Since it is doubtful that MD (or the caffeine within) is cause such harm to your natural life (as opposed to drugs similar to alcohol, heroin, etc.), I argue that it is not an addiction.
The only opening to avoid or at least drain withdrawal symptoms if you aspiration to stop drinking it would be to taper off the drink. Another suggestion would be to switch another soft drink next to less caffeine for your MD and after taper off that. The smaller number caffeine your body is used to the less difficult the subtraction will be.
