How to easily incorporate a allusion of sweetness to tea minus sugar or honey?

I don't want to make sweet tea and similar to the natural chew of tea. I had some tea at a tavern a while back that have just a great piece and just a touch of sweetness. I wonder if be a specific brand of Orange/Pekoe tea they used that stands above the rest, the method of brewing, or if they added a bag of herbal somethings contained by the mix?

Personally, I'd stick with a Ceylon tea or probably an Assam, if you can find them locally where you are. They're smoother than pekoe and not bitter at adjectives, no matter how strong you close to your tea.
