Does tea really contain more caffine than coffee?

If so why do I get more of a buzz from coffee and fancy tea when I want comforting or want to chill out? Has this got something to do beside the speed at which the caffine is released/absorbed?

Answer:
While coffee and tea are both sources of caffeine, the amounts of caffeine in any single serving of these beverages vary significantly. An average serving of coffee contains the most caffeine, yet matching serving size of tea provides only 1/2 to 1/3 as much. One of the more confusing aspects of caffeine content is the reality that coffee contains less caffeine than tea when measured contained by its dry form. The caffeine content of a prepared cup of coffee is significantly higher than the caffeine content of a prepared cup of tea
as far as I know (I am a tea and coffee drinker) coffee has twice the amount of caffeine.
No it doesn't. However did you know that you can get de-caff tea?
I think coffee have more because whenever I drink I get on a roll.
Plus it probably also varies greatly depending on the type of tea / coffee you are referring to. Think its mostly down to the bean & branch. Also how strong you have any drink...
